Hi moms! Getting ready for round 4 at WDW with 5 adults. Would it be more cost effective to book a suite at AOA or to try to get adjoining rooms at another resort? Thanks!!!

    Hi Lauren!

How exciting you are heading into round 4 of Walt Disney World vacations. Hopefully you are planning new and exciting things for this new visit for everyone. It is hard to keep up with Disney as they keep adding new experiences and things to see and do each month!

As far as your resort choices I would strongly suggest you not do the Art of Animation Family Suites. The bedding in the living area is more suited for younger children then for adults and since you will have five adults you will all want to have the nice queen bed which obviously won't work.  When you head over to a Moderate resort choice you can book two rooms that will have two queen beds each. This will give you the benefit of the two bathrooms as well. When you are making reservations please know the difference between connecting and adjoining rooms so you have the correct terminology on your reservation request.

Connecting rooms will have doors inside the rooms that can be opened and have access to both. Adjoining rooms are merely rooms that are next to each other and access to each other is only done through the hallway doors. It can be very confusing so you just want to make sure you are requesting exactly what you want.

The Art of Animation Resort is a great place to be and as much as I love the family suites I know I would not want to squeeze five adults in them. Two separate rooms will give everyone more privacy and room to enjoy and a better sleeping situation.
