    Hello! Getting ready to register for WDW half marathon in Jan 2017, Can you use a Disney gift card for the registration fee? And do Disney Visa cardholders get a discount? Thank you!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Walt Disney World Marathon weekend is a runner's paradise.  I think you will love running that half!

    You cannot use a Disney Gift Card when you register.  Registration is actually handled by Active.com and you will register on their site.  You can use a Disney Visa for it, but currently there are not discounts for Disney Visa cardholders on races.  You can find a list of perks on the Disney Visa website.

    It's a good idea to go ahead and set up your Active.com account if you don't already have one.  It will help expedite registration when it opens.  You can find more registration information on the Walt Disney World Marathon website.
