Hiya Aaron! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth during the holidays! Though you plan to arrive later in the holiday season, there will be no shortage of magic and mistletoe floating around the Walt Disney World Resort. If you find the time, I highly recommend checking out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays during your visit. This festival generally runs through the end of December, so you should be able to catch the end. The
Candlelight Processional will leave you breathless and the tasty treats you can find all around the World Showcase will satisfy that "rumbly in your tumbly" at any time of day!
Aaron, you're on the right track here with the gift cards. You're right that you can only combine
Disney Gift Cards up to $1,000. That is what makes your situation just a bit trickier. I've tried to pay with multiple gift cards online and it just is not the easiest process. Since your total exceeds $1,000, I think the best course of action here is for you to
contact a Cast Member at the number listed for New Tickets. On the receiving end of the phone call will be a kind, friendly Cast Member with their magic wand at the ready to help your ticketing dreams come true!
If you're not up for a phone call, you do have two other options, though they are not as favorable. First, you could purchase your tickets using separate gift cards at any
Guest Relations location at Walt Disney World. I see that you'll be taking a magic carpet ride in from Indiana, so I don't think this is the most ideal option for you, as
theme park reservations are best made in advance. You may also choose to pay for $1,000 worth of your tickets using one gift card, then save the additional gift cards for your
Disney Resort Hotel, dining while on your trip and souvenirs.
Aaron, go ahead and pick up the phone and give a Cast Member a call. It'll feel like speaking to an old friend, one with the power to grant your wishes (or at least the power to help you purchase your tickets). Pretty soon, you'll be on your way to a magical vacation!
Hakuna Matata,
Ashley
