Getting ready to purchase premium annual passes and when we visit we will not be staying on property. If we purchase them soon but don't actually activate them until mid July (first visit) will we still be able to choose fastpasses prior to the trip?

Hello Gwendolyn, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent planning question.

I absolutely love being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. Just knowing that I can walk into any theme park at Walt Disney World any day of the year, adds a little Pixie Dust to my day. I am happy to tell you that you can select FastPass+ experiences before you activate your annual passes.

You will need to link your annual passes to your My Disney Experience account in the “My Reservations and Tickets” tab. Scroll down to tickets and passes and click link tickets. You will enter the Ticket ID numbers that you will receive an email confirmation. You can add up to 10 ticket numbers if needed. Once you have all your annual pass Ticket Id numbers entered, click next. You can assign tickets to the members of your family. Take note that if you have children under age 10 that you assign the proper passes to them. Click on next to confirm and finalize linking your tickets.

Any guest can make FastPass+ selections 30 days before their arrival as long as they have a valid theme park admission ticket linked to their My Disney Experience account. You can make your selections at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Don’t forget all the other benefits that come with being an annual passholder.

    See ya real soon,
