I am getting ready to purchase our FIRST set of Disney Premium Annual passes for myself, 12 y, 10 y, and almost 3 yr old. He will not be 3 until later in the year, how do I go about making a pass purchase for him or will he need one right away?

    Hi, Jessica!

I’m so happy to hear you’re planning to invest in Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes for your family! I’ve been a proud passholder for several years, and I think it’s the best way to get the most out of your visits to the theme parks while taking advantage of some great discounts.

My suggestion is to wait until your son actually turns 3 to purchase his Annual Pass since children under 3 don’t require paid park admission. The only catch is that his pass won’t be up for renewal at the same time as the rest of the family, but I personally would prefer that scenario to paying for an entire year of visits for him unnecessarily. On your first visit to the theme parks after your youngest son turns 3, simply visit a theme park ticket booth to purchase his pass at that time.

I hope this helps, Jessica, and that you have a pixie-dusted year of visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
