We are getting ready to leave in a few weeks (woohooo!!!!). Staying on property. How do we link our CC to our magic band? Do we need any cash at all in the parks, resort, Downtown Disney area or can everything be charged? Thanks!!!

    Hi Karen!

How exciting!  Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it.

You can link a credit card to your MagicBand if you do online check-in prior to arriving at your Walt Disney World resort or you can link it when you check-in.  I love love love using my MagicBand to pay for everything that I can, but there are a few places that do not accept it as payment such as the carts that come out during parades and night time shows that sell the light up toys as well as the balloons.  Both of those only accept cash.  I always carry a little bit of cash and a credit card with me just in case I run into a location that doesn't accept MagicBand for payment.

    Have a magical day!
