Hi, Tracey!
Your visit to the Disneyland Resort with your little princesses is just around the corner! There’s so much to enjoy, and that first trip is always extra magical. Your daughters will love Fantasy Faire, a whimsical new storybook village near Sleeping Beauty Castle where they can meet Disney princesses and see all-new shows featuring Belle and Rapunzel! “Mickey and the Magical Map” also debuted this spring and should not be missed.
Blue Bayou is my favorite table-service restaurant in Disneyland Park, serving Cajun- and Creole-style food. It’s located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and the gently-lit “outdoor” atmosphere is like no other dining experience in the park.
Plaza Inn is a Victorian-themed restaurant at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. It just so happens to be the home of one of my favorite quick-service meals, the fried chicken! Lunch and dinner feature cafeteria-style service, and in addition to the famous chicken, they also serve up other home-style meals such as pot roast, pasta with your choice of sauce, and fresh salads, not to mention a selection of tempting desserts!
My recommendation for Disney California Adventure Park is Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land, a quick-service restaurant featuring classic American cuisine…this isn’t your typical theme park food! Take a seat on the patio or in one of the window-lined dining rooms to enjoy a spectacular view as cars speed past on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction! If you’ve got room for dessert, the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is just a few steps away.
Reservations for table-service restaurants can be made by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463. Please write back with more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation, Tracey!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
