    We are getting ready for our 1st Disney Cruise - Mexico 8 days for Christmas (26 days away)! Our 7 & 5 year old boys still have no idea we are going! We have reservations for brunch at Palo, will my husband still need to wear a jacket and tie for brunc

    Hi, Michelle!

    Let the countdown begin -- to Christmas and your cruise! My family and I sailed on the Disney Wonder to the Mexican Riviera last month, and we loved experiencing the culture of those colorful ports of call and soaking up all the warm sun we could.  I can't believe your boys aren't aware of the trip.  How are you going to tell them?  You better have the cameras handy, for sure!

    For brunch at Palo -- which we don't miss on a 7-night Disney cruise -- the dress code is a bit more relaxed than at dinner.  Just make sure your hubby has a pair of slacks or nice khakis and a collared shirt. They just don't allow jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes. I've seen the host ask a guest to change out of jeans before entering Palo for brunch.
