Howdy, Jacqueline! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I am absolutely thrilled that you are getting ready to book a Disneyland Resort vacation! The Disneyland Hotel is my all-time favorite hotel and I know you are going to love it!
When booking a
vacation package through the Disneyland Resort website, you will complete your purchase, which includes your hotel stay and theme park tickets, before you make theme park reservations. If you're logged into your Disneyland account when booking your package, your reservation should be automatically linked and you should be able to
make theme park reservations immediately after checking out. If for some reason that's not the case, you can
link your package confirmation number manually in order to make theme park reservations. If you are purchasing your theme park tickets separately from your hotel reservation, you will make your reservations at the time your purchase your tickets.
Keep in mind that if you have Park Hopper tickets, you will make a reservation for the park you want to start at each day. Then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park and continue to hop back and forth the rest of the day if you wish.
While staying at the Disneyland Hotel, you'll definitely want to check out all the fun places to eat. A must-do is
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. This zany bar and eatery is like nothing else at the parks with its over-the-top drinks and super fun atmosphere. For a quick breakfast before hitting the parks, check out
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill. I like to place a mobile order and take the breakfast back up to the room so my family can munch on it while we get ready in the morning. You can also get an assortment of breakfast pastries and snacks as well as a variety of coffees at
The Coffee House which is located onsite at the Disneyland Hotel.
I hope this helps! Have a delightful time at the Disneyland Resort!
