I am getting ready to book a trip I was wondering if for some reason we wouldn’t be able to go would we be able to just transfer it to another time

Hey howdy hey Nicole and welcome to planDisney!

The fall is such a Magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I absolutely love the fall feel you get walking down a festively decorated Main Street, U.S.A. and all the special fall treats. One of the big celebrations that my family and I really enjoy is Disney After Hours Boo Bash event in Magic Kingdom. Lower wait times for our favorite rides, trick-or-treating for my three girls and the special Halloween parades are just a few of the many reasons we love this event. I'm sure that anyone planning their big trip to Walt Disney World goes through the "what if we have to cancel" scenario, but don't worry because I've got you covered.

Booking vacation packages with Walt Disney World Resort allows for good flexibility if you ever have to change or modify your trip. Based on the terms and conditions, any change made 31 days or more from your date of arrival can be done without penalty. Just keep in mind if you change to a more expensive time you might be charged the difference. The opposite is true if you book a less expensive trip as your bill will reflect the reduced amount. If you make a change less than 30 days prior to your date of arrival, you will be charged a $50.00 change fee.

One big tip that I encourage anyone traveling to Walt Disney World is to consider travel insurance. This is one huge addition that may help out as well for any of those unplanned events that may happen to affect your trip. Make sure to review the terms and conditions of the plans and pick the one that you feel is right for your trip. Walt Disney World does have this as an option when booking your trips and you have many other third-party options as well to choose from.

Good luck with your continued planning on your trip this September. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy planning,

    Nick.
