Danelle Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am getting ready to book our Disney vacation for September. If we pay for the dining plan and Disney offers free dining at that time, would we get a refund of what was paid?

    Hi there, Danelle!

Walt Disney World works hard to ensure its Guests have the best time possible while on vacation, and art of that is ensuring the best deal possible.

If you have a package deal booked through The Walt Disney Travel Company or an authorized Disney travel agent, you will need to call (407) W-DISNEY or your travel agent when the deal is released.

Vacation packages can be converted between different offers, allowing you to retain the same reservation number (room-only reservations do not have this flexibility). You will want to move on this quickly when it is announced to avoid any potential fees associated with modifying the reservation - although unless you cancel altogether, you should not incur any penalties.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
