Hi! moms I am getting ready to book a cruise . my? is do we need to have passport numbers to book a cruise .the web site say we do and Idon't have passports yet. going to wait until spring to get them. cruise is not until dec. 14 2013

Welcome back to the Disney Moms Panel, Ann!

It's so fun for me to help a guest fine tune vacation plans! When you book your cruise (either online at DisneyCruise.com, by calling 800-951-3532 or going through a travel agent), you can provide your passport number at a later date.  It's always a good idea to hold a valid passport when you're traveling outside your home country -- especially now since there are two very different policies regarding air and sea travel. The extra trouble and expense will be worth the peace of mind you'll experience knowing that you can be identified as a US citizen anywhere you sail, and you are able to travel by air should an emergency arise.

I hope this helps, and I'm glad that your plans are coming together for you. If there's anything else I can do for you, I'm here for Mickey's sea-faring guests.  So, let me know how I can help! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
