    Getting ready to make the big reservations for our 8/2014 Disney trip soon. We have AAA. How do you get the best price when booking (Disney special offers vs. AAA?). Can you switch at a later date if a better deal comes along?

    Hi Amanda,

    It's great that you are planning ahead for your Walt Disney World vacation! Different deals will come and go during that time so it's really hard to tell which one will be the best for your. sometimes a "free"  Disney Dining Plan looks great until you see that you r room rate could be higher than a regular discounted rate. I do suggest studying the deals as they come. If you purchase through Disney it's best to do a room only deal at first and then if a package deal comes around you can always cancel the original and go with the new one. AAA offers some of the same deals as can be found on the Walt Disney World website, but they will add a few perks to it. It's best to talk to your representative to get a better idea of the cancelation and changes you can make to your AAA reservations.

    You still have a little bit of time to make your reservation and you never know what deals will come around prior to August of 2014. Most of the best deals will probably be released between March and May of 2014. Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel, Amanda!
