I am getting nervous - I have dinner reservations at "Be Our Guest" at 9:05PM - the park closes at 9:00PM - is there a chance I will not be able to get a bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge after dinner?

    Hi Suzanne,

Congratulations on securing a reservation at Be Our Guest, one of the most popular dining spots in all of Walt Disney World! I promise you won't be stranded at an empty Magic Kingdom after your meal. The complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World resorts continues for at least an hour after the park closes -- until the last stragglers have exited the parks. On more than one occasion, I've left the park an hour or more after the official closing time and had no trouble finding a bus back to my resort.

I have other good news: It appears that the hours at Magic Kingdom may have been extended since you first made your advance dining reservation. It now appears that closing time isn't until at least 10 p.m. throughout June. That will give you plenty of time for a leisurely dinner in the Beast's castle and an after-dinner visit with the lord of the manor as well.

You will want to savor your time at Be Our Guest. Make sure you take in the whole scene, and definitely save room for dessert. The triple chocolate cupcake is scrumptious, and, of course, you will want a taste of the grey stuff. It's delicious.

I hope that eases your worries, Suzanne. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns about planning your Walt Disney World vacation. We're always happy to share our experiences to help make your visit as carefree and magical as possible.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
