Hiya, Amanda!
I'm so glad you've made your way to planDisney. Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so quickly? Now that your visit is just about 90 days away, the countdown is officially on! As it just so happens, you'll be visiting during my favorite time of year –– Holiday Season! With beautiful decorations, incredible gingerbread displays, and seasonal treats around every corner, I love that it feels like everything is sprinkled with an extra dose of pixie dust.
Speaking of gingerbread displays, since you'll be staying at either the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel or Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, be sure to plan some time to walk over to
Disney's Beach Club Resort during your visit. There, you'll find one of my favorite gingerbread displays in all of Walt Disney World Resort –– the gingerbread carousel. But not only is this display beautiful to look at, it really works (although you can't ride it, much to my two-year-old's dismay)! In years past, there's also been a hot chocolate bar in the Resort lobby, so if you're looking for a perfect way to add some holiday cheer to your day, you won't have far to go!
While Bell Services is happy to offer complimentary luggage transfers between
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, unfortunately, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve hotels are all ineligible for this service. That means you'll need to transfer your own luggage to
Disney's Art of Animation Resort for the second part of your stay. If you don't have a car at your disposal, I think the easiest way to get your luggage from point A to Be is to use a rideshare or taxi service to go directly to the Resort. If your room isn't ready once you arrive, you'll be able to store your luggage with Bell Services and then head out to enjoy the rest of your day.
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Amanda. If you think of new questions as your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit gets closer, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always happy to lend a helping hand!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
