Hello, if I am getting married in Orlando and having a small meal at Disney springs and then going back to my resort for drinks, am I able to wear my wedding dress on the resort buses from springs to fort wilderness resort? Thank you

Hello there Charlotte, it's wonderful to welcome you here to planDisney!

There are certainly a lot of dining locations around Disney Springs for couples to celebrate tying the knot, and as someone who had a Disney Wedding last year we had also considered a number of venues (including Paddlefish particularly) where we'd be able to enjoy a meal together with our closest loved ones. I frequently spot folks who've just been married out and about across Walt Disney World Resort and you'll be happy to hear that I've observed quite a few couples taking all kinds of Walt Disney World Resort transportation with Cast Members happily welcoming wedding dresses onto buses, boats, monorails and even the Disney Skyliner! (This isn't entirely out of the question, especially when fellow Disney fan couples love the idea of taking Disney transportation between their events just for the fun and novelty of being able to do so in their wedding attire.)

Some things to keep in mind are of course the attire policies in place for the theme parks, but Cast Members may approach guests at any time when taking resort transportation or at the Disney Resort Hotels if attire is considered inappropriate or unsafe for any reason. It's also a good idea to speak directly with the Cast Members where you're staying as a guest upon your arrival - in this case at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - to confirm whether there are any locations or activities on site where wearing a wedding dress may not be permitted, especially as policies are always subject to change without prior notice.

While you're here, I encourage you both to look into things like adding Enchanting Extras to your stay such as private evening cruises for up to 10 guests to watch fireworks or even a Capture Your Moment photo session in the theme parks! The great thing about getting married in Orlando is essentially being able to spend your Honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort, so be sure to check out some of the great tips from Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons to help you prepare for your your post-wedding week bliss!
