Hello Bryan,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your excellent question! My husband and I got married in Walt Disney World Resort in July 2009, and I can tell you that it was one of the most memorable and wonderful days of my life.
The first thing that I would tell you to do would be to make sure that you get the “Happily Ever After” buttons when you check into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at Guest Relations in any Theme Park that you may visit. Getting the Wedding “ears” is also lots of fun and makes for great souvenirs. Although I can’t guarantee that you’ll get special “perks” everywhere you go, many restaurants will give you a special celebratory treat at the end of your meal… and, at the very least, you’ll be blown away by how many Cast Members and even Guests will congratulate you!
As for money saving tips, I’m not sure whether you’re talking about your
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings package or about your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. If it’s for your wedding itself, I never felt that our wedding planner was trying to pressure us into something that we didn’t wantI would discuss your budget in depth with them in order to make sure that your day is perfect for YOU. If you’re looking for vacation budgeting options, my friend Rachel recently gave another Guest some great
tips about how to save money during their upcoming trip.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us again. I love helping Guests plan the first day of their Happily Ever After!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
