Hello! Getting homesick for Disney. When can you start your online reservations on I tried but only went to 12/31/2019. Excited to get started. Thank you!!

Hello Lynette. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm really glad to hear that you are looking forward to planning your next Walt Disney World vacation. I, too, always have a trip in the works and planning it is half of the fun! For about the past 5 years or so, I've noticed that Walt Disney World vacation packages open up for booking online around the middle of June for the following year. So one can expect it will be about the same this year too. If you are just so excited and can't wait until then, you can actually make a room only reservation 499 days in advance over the phone. When packages are released this summer for 2020, you can call back and convert your room only reservation to a vacation package. It is a bit more difficult to do it that way so I suggest waiting a few more months if you can. I'm sure you already know this but just in case, once your vacation if booked you can start making Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your vacation and FastPass+ selections 60 days prior. While you are waiting to book your next vacation, do what I do and comb through the Disney Parks Blog for information about what's to come at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I visit the site daily to get my Disney fix!

I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me. Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
