I am getting a Gold Florida Annual Pass next week. Are there any tips you can recommend?

    Hey there, Jennifer!

I’m glad you brought us your question! As a fellow Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, I’m happy to welcome you to the coolest club in the world! You are going to love having an AP! For me, having an annual pass allows me and my family to explore even more of everything the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer and do it often.

My #1 piece of advice is to keep an eye out for all the extra special benefits Disney gives to their annual passholders. Right now, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort, Annual Passholders can enjoy 20% off on select merchandise and many wonderful dining locations! Another super cool perk you’ll notice upon entering the parks right now is a special entry point for AP’s. Just another fun way Disney makes us feel special!

Lastly, with your Gold level Annual Pass, you get to enjoy the benefits of Disney’s PhotoPass. You will be able to download all the great pictures you will capture when you visit, and these pictures will remain active on your account for up to a year. Make sure you have My Disney Experience downloaded on your smart device so you can easily access, edit and download all your photos on the go.  I love looking through my family’s photos and seeing the kids grow up at Disney. It doesn't get much better than that!

I hope you have a great time next time you visit WDW! See you real soon!

Hi! My name is Emille. I’m a mom of two and wife to a wonderful fellow Disney nerd! As a current Florida resident and Annual Passholder, I love being able to visit the Walt Disney World Resort frequently. When I’m not at the Parks, you can find me leading worship at my local church or traveling with a prison ministry I sing and speak for. I look forward to answering your questions and sharing some of my favorite tips to help you plan your next magical Walt Disney World vacation! Learn More About Emille
