    When getting food or drink with magic band, can you choose if you want it to be applied to your dinning plan or the CC on file with your band?

    Hi Christina!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love to add a Disney dining plan to our Walt Disney World Resort vacations because it is so nice to know that much of our dining expenses are paid in advance of our trip! When you are purchasing food while you are on a dining plan, you will always need to let the Cast Member know how many dining credits you will like to redeem for your purchase. If you are choosing to charge your purchase to your Walt Disney World Resort room account rather than redeem a dining credit, simply let the Cast Member know that you will not be redeeming any credits and would like to pay for your purchase using your MagicBand. I find myself doing this often for extra snacks for my little ones. Be sure to take a look at your receipt as it will include your remaining dining credits printed on the bottom!
