Is getting the Fantasmic dinner package worth the early dinner reservation?

    Hi there Jeffrey!

I always reserve a Fantasmic! Dining Package during our visits. Personally, I think it's well worth eating dinner early for! If you're not thrilled about the early dinner, consider reserving a lunch package instead so that you can eat your meal at a regular hour and return to take advantage of the reserved seating section later in the evening of the same day!

The main benefit of the package is the time saved. Since the seating area is basically concrete and metal benches, it's so much nicer to only need to arrive 30 mins in advance of the show. The alternative would be arriving 60 minutes ahead of the show time just to secure decent seats together. That extra 30 minutes of your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios can instead be used to scream together on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or to fit in some great shopping along Sunset or Hollywood Boulevards!

My favourite is Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano for lunch or dinner.
If you have additional questions about the Fantasmic! Dining Packages, or would like recommendations for your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again Jeffrey.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
