    Hi, Getting excited for our visit. Staying at BC Villas and wondering if at Stormalong Bay if there is cost to rent rafts and tubes for the lazy river? Also, how long does it take to get from BC to Downtown Disney? Is it only by bus or can we take a boat?

    Howdy Angie!  I'm so excited for you!  In one month you will be at Disney's Beach Club Villas!!! 

    I spoke with a Cast Member at Disney's Beach Club Villas and found out that they no longer rent the inner tubes.  They let Guests use them free of charge!  Bonus!!  While this will save you some money, you may need to be rather strategic about your time at Stormalong Bay if the inner tubes are important to you.  Each morning the Recreation Cast Members bring out the tubes and allow Guests to use them throughout the day.  As I mentioned, the inner tubes are free of charge but they are available on a first come, first served basis.  They also ask that you only hang onto the inner tubes if you are using them in the pools.  They ask that you don't hold onto them and set them on your chairs as if to reserve them.  This will enable more Guests to enjoy time floating around the lazy river!

    Regarding transportation to Downtown Disney: you cannot take a boat but the bus is a great option.  If you are trying to make dining reservations or timed events, I would give yourself an hour to get there.  You shouldn't need that long but it is better to be safe than sorry.  Depending on the event or reservation, I sometimes try to give myself a little more than an hour just to ensure I make my reservation on time.  There is so much to do in Downtown Disney that arriving early is never a bad thing.
