Getting excited planning Nov. 2013 trip! We are going to Hollywood Studios on Nov. 17, which doesn't look like its going to be terrible busy. We have dinner reserv. at 4:15 at 50's prime. Fantasmic! is at 6:30 will we really have to be in line 1 hr prior?

    Heather, start the countdown!

My family is willing to trade less than ideal seats for Fantasmic! in exchange for a short wait. We have walked in only ten or fifteen minutes before the show a few times and been able to grab a spot on the far left or right with no problem. The stage is huge and the show is large and grand so you will see Mickey battling evil villains no matter where you sit. You might want to consider a Fantasmic! meal package for an early lunch to guarantee you a seat. One of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World is the 50's Prime Time Cafe so I would recommend you don't give up that awesome dinner reservation. Either do a lunch package or take your chances on finding last minute seats.
