    Getting more excited by the day for our August trip!!! I wanted to book the 7 hour tour for my son and husband, but my son won't be quite 16 yet. How strict is this policy?

    Hi Laurie,

    I totally understand your excitement! Yay - August will be here before you know it!

    The Backstage Magic Tour is one of my all time favorite tours.  Guests must be at least 16 year of age to participate in this tour.  This is a strict policy and all guests are required to present a government issued ID upon check in for the tour.

    One reason they are strict is because it goes behind the scenes a lot and they don't want to spoil the magic.  Its also for safety reasons because sometimes you're in the middle of a working environment while Cast Members are busy creating magic.

    There are other AWESOME tours that have a lower minimum age that you might want to consider booking for your husband and son:

    * Wild Africa Trek
    * Wild by Design
    * Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour
    * Dolphins in Depth
    * Epcot DiveQuest
    * Seas Aqua Tour

    Of these, I'd vote for either Wild Africa Trek or Disney's The Magic Behind out Steam Trains Tour.  These are both super fun and would be a great bonding time for the two of them.

    Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
