Welcome back to planDisney, Geneva! I'm happy to assist with your transportation question. There are so many unique ways to
travel around the Walt Disney World Resort, and just getting around is half the fun!
The Transportation and Ticket Center is your gateway to the
Magic Kingdom Park. I love how
Cinderella Castle emerges like a shining beacon calling me home when I arrive here. I'm so excited for you to see the 50th-anniversary makeover of the park's majestic icon! Additionally, your visit coincides with the merriest time of the year in Walt Disney World, so be sure to check out some of the dazzling holiday decor in the parks and resorts. While offerings are different this year, you'll still find plenty of festive touches. Check out the latest
Disney Parks Blog story for more information.
Geneva, the Transportation and Ticket Center will generally admit vehicles one to two hours before the official park opening, with monorail and ferry boats transporting Guests to the Magic Kingdom Park starting about an hour prior to opening. There is a designated area for taxi and ride share services, and I recommend inquiring about the location of this lane with the Cast Member at the parking booth and following signs to the designated area. Be sure to familiarize yourself with
new health and safety procedures you will experience upon arrival. Disney is doing a fantastic job ensuring Guests feel confident and comfortable returning to the magic!
I hope this helps as you prepare for your jolly holiday to Walt Disney World. If there is anything else we can help with before your adventure begins, please stop by again.
Wishing you merry memories,
Betsy
