Getting the dining plan for our upcoming trip, my son is 8 but is a healthy eater can we get an adult meal for him?

    Hi Kimberly!

Congratulations on purchasing a Disney Dining Plan for your next Walt Disney World vacation!  My son and I love using the Disney DIning Plan on our Walt Disney World vacations! If your son is not satisfied with the children's meal, then you have a few options.   You can ask for a larger portion of a kid's meal for a nominal additional fee which will be added on to your check like a tip, alcoholic beverage, or appetizer would be added to your bill.  You can order two kids meals, use your son's dining credits for the first meal and pay for the second one out of pocket (typically children's meals are between $8.00 and $12.00 each).  You would not be able to use a child dining credit to by an adult meal so you would have to use one of the options that I just mentioned.

I hope that all of your meals are magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
