We are getting the deluxe meal plan for our group. It's our 1st trip, we're all foodies and wanted the best. However our 5 year old isn't going to eat that much. Can she just share with me or can i get away with No meal plan for her?

    Hi Hope,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for an amazing Walt Disney World Resort vacation! One of my favorite things about a trip to visit Mickey and friends is the amazing food available able to enjoy during vacation. In fact, quite a bit of my trip planning generally revolves around the meals and snacks that are on our "must-do" lists!

When you traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with little ones, you have the option of sharing your meal with them when you are enjoying table service meals. Keep in mind that when you are enjoying family-style, buffet-style meals or Character Dining, all Guests will be charged for their meal, so your little princess can enjoy everything she is interested on her own plate. So if you will be enjoying any of these meals during your trip, you can use your daughter's dining plan entitlements for these meals.

When you add any of the dining plans to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you must add it for all Guests on your hotel reservation and you will receive one set of dining entitlements per person on your reservation, per night of your reservation. So unfortunately, there is not an option to not include her in your dining plan if she is on your reservation.

In my experience, even when my little ones around that age didn't eat much, it helped for them to order their own meal that was made of things that they were interested. That way, I could get them fill their little bellies as much as possible to get them through a big theme park day!

Please come back to see us if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
