Getting the deluxe dining plan. I figure will have extra children's dining credits. Can I use a child credit at a table service meal for my 2 yr old? Thanks so much.

Hi, Jennifer! Unfortunately, you can't redeem meals or snacks for any guests who are not on your 2010 Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, and the DDDP is unavailable for children under the age of three. However, I would recommend that you make full use of your dining credits. For instance, if you think you'll have extra children's dining credits because your children won't be dining with you on occasion, use their credits for private in-room dining. Or, consider booking a dinner show like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or Mickey's Backyard BBQ which require two meal credits per person. Then, you can either pay for the adults' tickets out of pocket (which I would recommend anyway), or you can make it a night out with only one adult while someone else stays with the toddler. Sometimes, it does take some advanced planning to work out the meal schedule on the dining plan, but it always works out to our family's benefit in the end. Thanks for contacting the Mom's Panel.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
