When getting a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance, does everyone riding need to physically in the park in order for them to be in your group? Or can you make a boarding group for 4 if only 2 are there (with the other 2 on their way to the park)

    Hi Katherine!

It sounds like you are just as excited as I am to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for the first time! This new attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is unlike anything that Guests have been able to experience before. Just like you, I'm planning my family's next Walt Disney World Resort vacation and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is definitely on our "must-do" list!

Currently, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is using a virtual queue system to allow Guests to enjoy this attraction. At the published opening time for Disney's Hollywood Studios, Guests will be able to enter the attraction's virtual queue by joining a Boarding Group. To join a Boarding Group, all Guests must have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios, which means, unfortunately, you won't be able to add members of your group to a Boarding Group if they have not yet entered the theme park. So I recommend that you plan on everyone being at the theme park early on the day you would like to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance!

Keep in mind that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is still very new, so there may be changes in the attraction experience before your visit. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning for the latest news and announcements. Also, be sure to come back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
