Getting addicted to checking MP every day!! Going to WDW 1st week of Dec.!! Will MK be more or less crowded earlier in the day when MVMCP is in the p.m.?? Thanks for any insite!!

    Karen:

I've been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party three times and have enjoyed the party several ways, including coming all day to Magic Kingdom and coming only for the party.  When my family went two years ago, we went Magic Kingdom on the day that we had MVMCP tickets, and what a mistake!

It was fine until right after lunch, and by 3:00 p.m. we were walking single file from Main Street to Tomorrowland.  The crowds were thick, and I wasn't prepared for it, especially because we were there a full 10 days before Christmas.

Even though you'll be visiting in early December, if crowds are a bother to you, I would treat the Christmas party like Extra Magic Hours and avoid Magic Kingdom on the days they hold it, or if you have tickets to it, come in the late afternoon after visiting Animal Kingdom which closes early anyway.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
