How would we get from from HS to DD and how far is it/how long will it take? What time should we leave HS to make a 6:45 dinner reservation at T-Rex?

Hi again!  You have great questions and hopefully these answers can help you plan better for your wonderful Disney vacation!

To reach Downtown Disney from Hollywood Studios means you will have to transfer at some point.  You can catch the bus to Saratoga Springs resort and then transfer to the Downtown Disney bus at that point.  That trip takes approximately 30 minutes but add wait time for the buses.  I would give yourself an hour to make the trip and the transfers but if you are lucky it can only take the 30 minutes.

The other way is enjoyable but it would take longer. You can catch the boat from the Hollywood Studios and catch the bus to Downtown Disney from the Yacht and Beach resorts.  If you have the time it is relaxing and something different to take the boat.

I will be trying the new restaurant ,T-Rex, myself this December and can't wait to take my grandsons!
