Boo to you, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this spooktacular question today! Having been to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time myself in 2018, I am so excited for you to experience these special ticketed events. Plus, you will even be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the World's Most Magical Celebration. With so many incredible things to discover, I am sure your vacation will be unforgettable!
You are correct that Disney Resort hotel Guests can purchase their
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets in advance as part of a presale. To access this presale, the main thing you need to make sure of is that your reservation is linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Indeed, you can
link any reservation to your account by clicking on "My Plans" under the My Disney Experience tab and then on "Add More Plans." There, you will be able to click on "Link Reservations and Purchases" and link your package. Also, make sure that you are logged into your My Disney Experience account when purchasing your tickets as it will, otherwise, say that the tickets will be available soon. If you are still experiencing issues, I would highly recommend trying on a different device or
calling a Disney Cast Member as they will be able to help further.
One of my favourite parts of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is all the fun-themed treats you can get for the occasion. However, if you are a foodie like me, there are many more offerings to discover! Indeed, you will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which is known for its many food options. Some of my favourites include the Impossible Burger Slider at Earth Eats and the Truffle Mac & Cheese at Mac and Eats. In addition, the 50th anniversary has its own set of
themed treats and meals throughout the Resort. One of my favourite snacks to get at the parks, and a classic, in my opinion, has been the hand-dipped Mickey Premium Bar. Plus, no Disney vacation is complete without a Dole Whip, so I recommend trying the Tropical Serenade at Aloha Isle Refreshments in Magic Kingdom Park. Lastly, if you would like a
complete list of the best treats to get at the Walt Disney World Resort, check out our recommendations!
I hope this was helpful, Jessica, and that you and your fellow happy haunts will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other spooky questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!
Have a spooktastic day,
Ariane
