    Can Genie+ be used during Special Ticketed Events? We will be attending the runDisney Post Race Party during the Food and Wine Festival this year and I was wondering if we would be able to use Genie+ Lightening Lanes during the party. Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney! There is something extra special about running a runDisney race at Walt Disney World Resort. I’m no runner, but I have run the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon before, and I made a lot of core memories during the race. I still remember limping around the World Showcase during the Post-Race Party, trying to get one of the festival booths on the other side (I told you I wasn’t a runner).

    Thank you for your excellent question! Disney Genie+ is incredibly helpful for maximizing your time in the Theme Parks and riding some of the most popular attractions during peak times. As a result, Genie+ is intended for use during normal operating hours and not during the Post-Race Party. Luckily, in my experience, you won’t really need to have Genie+ to enjoy the attractions. Similar to the Halloween and Christmas parties, only Guests who have purchased entrance to the party can attend, so the lines will be much more manageable.
