Test Track at Epcot

Sam from NJ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I want to get Genie+ and stack rides up for when I arrive at Epcot so I can maximize my time. Am I able to book multiple rides at the same time in the sense that I have multiple bookings at 1:00 or a booking at 1:00 and 1:30 with the 1 hour redeem window?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sam!

When I read your question, all I could think was, "Ah, Padawan Sam, your question reveals the Force is strong in you and you know the Way." The short answer is yes you can have overlapping times for Lightning Lane entries on Genie+. But I love this topic so much, a short answer alone will never do.

You can start selecting Lightning Lane entries as early as 7 am on the day of your visit. For my EPCOT strategy, I try for a Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind precisely at 7 am. Immediately after, I purchase Genie+ and book a Lightning Lane. The big question is which attraction first: Test Track or Remy's Ratatouille Adventure? With the news Test Track will be closed for an exciting reimagining starting June 17, I know which I am choosing first on my trip later this week. After June, it will be Remy's. These two attractions tend to book quickly, so I try to grab these Lightning Lanes first.

As long as you make your first Lightning Lane selection before EPCOT opens, you can book other attractions two hours after EPCOT opens. Your booking window is every two hours after making a selection or after scanning in for the last Lightning Lane entry you chose, whichever is earlier. The good news is the My Disney Experience App tells you the time you are eligible to make another selection. Just look at the top of the Tip Board.

You do need to arrive at the chosen attraction during the Lightning Lane entry window to keep it from being automatically canceled. But you can have overlapping windows, like Spaceship Earth from 3:30-4:30 pm and Mission: Space from 3:45-4:45. And it is easy enough with the proximity of these attractions to go thank the Phoenicians and still board your X-2 Deep Space Shuttle without fear of missing the mission.

Once your Lightning Lanes are booked, you can also modify the times, if needed. One note, of which I am sure you are aware but just in case, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is only accessible through a Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane entry. If you do not get one of those lucky Virtual Queue Boarding Groups - or even if you do - purchasing the Individual Lightning Lane is something to seriously consider. The ride... coaster... thrill... indescribable experience is worth it.

I hope you find your day easy to navigate and Genie+ maximizes your fun! Please come back to planDisney with any other questions.

May the Force continue to run strong in you, my friend.
