    Welcome to planDisney, Teresa!  We are glad you brought your question to us.

    With Disney Genie+ service, Guests can get more out of their day by reserving Lightning Lane access to over 40 attractions, one at a time.  Disney Genie+ can be purchased via the My Disney Experience mobile app anytime on the date you plan to use it.  While you can purchase Disney Genie+ beginning at midnight on the day of your visit, there is no need to turn into a pumpkin!  Since Guests who purchase Disney Genie+ can reserve their first Lightning Lane attraction beginning at 7:00 am, I recommend completing your purchase a few minutes prior to 7:00.  Look for the Disney Genie+ Service purple banner on the home screen of the app and select the "Purchase" button, or you can also purchase by clicking the link at the top of the Tip Board.

    Some of the most popular attractions have been designated as Individual Lightning Lane attractions and are not included with Disney Genie+ service. Currently, these attractions are:

    • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
    • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
    • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
    • Avatar Flight of Passage

    Individual Lightning Lanes are purchased a la carte via the Tip Board in the My Disney Experience app.  Guests do not need to have purchased Disney Genie+ in order to be able to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes.  Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Shades of Green, or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels may purchase Individual Lightning Lane attractions beginning at 7:00 am.  All other Guests may purchase at the scheduled park opening time.
