    Does Genie plus include Photo Pass photographers?

    The complimentary Disney Genie service has been a great enhancement to my experience in the Disney Parks. And purchasing the Disney Genie+ service adds even more phenomenal cosmic power.

    When we purchase the Disney Genie+ service at the Disneyland Resort in California, we can access the following benefits:

    • Reserve Lightning Lane return times that provide shorter wait times at select attractions.
    • Access Audio Tales from the Disneyland mobile app. Listening to Audio Tales is like having a personal tour guide to give fascinating history and trivia about attractions and lands at the Disneyland Resort.
    • Enjoy exclusive Disney PhotoPass Lenses. These augmented reality effects enhance photos and videos taken with your mobile phone.
    • Download complimentary digital downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass photos for each day you have the Genie+ service. Yes, that includes both attraction photos and photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers.

    Note that products and services may vary between the different Disney Parks destinations. For comparison, here are the benefits when you purchase the Disney Genie+ service at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida:

    • Reserve return times to Lightning Lane entrances of select attractions.
    • Smile for the camera with Disney PhotoPass Lenses available only with Genie+
    • Learn even more about the parks by listening to Audio Tales.
    • Coming soon: download complimentary Disney PhotoPass attraction photos.

    At the Walt Disney World Resort, Guests may still access Disney PhotoPass photos taken by photographers by purchasing Memory Maker. Disneyland Resort Guests may also purchase a similar product called Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. But I feel like the Genie+ service is a better overall value at the Disneyland Resort since it includes both PhotoPass photos and access to Lightning Lane and other benefits.

    I love visiting Disney Parks to make magical memories. The Disney PhotoPass service helps to make those memories last. I’m glad the Disney Genie+ service is around to help make access to PhotoPass even easier.
