Hi there, Janine, and welcome to planDisney!
As my pal Mickey Mouse says, “Oh, boy!” I have some great news for you about how you can plan the best trip ever for this fall. Not only can you indulge in the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival or even catch a special event like
Disney Jollywood Nights, but you’ll also be able to use the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.
The current service will shift to the new
Lightning Lane Pass service on July 24, 2024. Once your vacation comes around, the new service will be in place. Let’s get into the details of how you can use it to make the most out of your vacation by skipping some of the attraction standby queues.
In the
My Disney Experience App, you will be able to purchase and make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or another eligible hotel, you will be able to make your experience selections up to 7 days before your check-in date. If you’re staying off-property, you can make selections up to 3 days before. As a super planner, I love that we will be able to plan out our must-do attractions in advance. You can find the entire list of each theme park’s Multi Pass experiences and learn more about attraction groups on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
You’ll also have the opportunity to buy Lightning Lane Single Passes in the app as well. The Single Passes will give you access to Lightning Lanes for those really high-demand rides like
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You don’t need a Lighting Lane Multi Pass in order to book these extras. You can book up to 2 Single Passes per day up to 7 days (or 3 days, if you’re not staying on property) in advance.
AN EXTRA GEM: What’s even cooler? You can book all of your selections for up to an entire 14 days of your visit. And you’ll be able to make in-app changes to your plans as you get closer to your grand adventure—even up to the day of. Even super planners need a bit of flexibility.
I just know that you’re going to have the Most Magical time in November. If you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions,

Magic always,
LeAndra
