    If you have the genie option, do you still need to make ride reservations

    Welcome back to planDisney, Randall! We are thrilled to continue to assist you as you plan a pixie-dusted Disney adventure!

    All visitors can use complimentary Disney Genie service offered via the My Disney Experience app to plan their best day ever at The Most Magical Place on Earth. However, if you want more convenience and flexibility, consider purchasing Disney Genie+ to select the next available arrival window for Disney Genie+ experiences and use Lightning Lane entrances to skip the regular queue. Please note that you can make one selection at a time, starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your visit. You must have a Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selection to use the Lightning Lane entrance, so always plan to make a new selection right after enjoying an attraction.

    planDisney tip: Remember that you can also make individual Lightning Lane purchases for popular attractions not included with Disney Genie+.
