    Does the Genie + give you an advantage when purchasing an LL pass or is it about the same as a single purchase at 7 that day you are going into the park?

    Hiya Barbara! Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to see us with your question! WIth your next trip around the corner, you’ll be among the first to experience Disney Genie and Disney Genie+! You must be so excited. Before we dig into your question, my top tip is to make sure you’ve downloaded the most recent version of your My Disney Experience Mobile App and that you plan to take a backup battery along or your mobile device! Being left without charge can often leave you without enough charge to make your best Disney plans and adapt on the go! That is what Disney Genie is all about!

    When it comes to Disney Genie+, this feature can be added to each day of your Theme Park Ticket in advance or can be added to your Ticket each morning at 7 am (if staying on Disney property) or at Theme Park opening if staying off property. If you add it daily, you have even more flexibility in deciding which days you will make the best use of it. Additional Lightning Lane selections are entirely separate. These can be purchased at the same time frames as above (at 7 am when staying on property, at time Theme Park opening time if not), whether or not you have Disney Genie+ on your Theme Park Ticket. Each Guest can add up to two Lightning Lane selections per day, pending availability. These selections can even be at different Theme Parks, allowing you to make the best use of the Park Hopper Option if you so desire!
