Hi Daren! Thanks for stopping planDisney with your question. How exciting that you'll soon be escaping this gloomy weather we have here in Illinois to head to beautiful Walt Disney World Resort! I'll be happy to chat with you about using Disney Genie+ service so you'll be prepared for your visit next weekend. With Disney Genie+ service, Guests can reserve Lightning Lane access to over 40 rides and attractions, one at a time, beginning at 7:00 am. Guests are eligible to reserve an additional attraction after redeeming the first, or if 2 hours have elapsed since making their most recent Lightning Lane reservation. The 2-hour time window begins at the scheduled park opening time. So on a day when the park opens at 9:00 am, you can make your next Lightning Lane selection after 11:00 am, or after redeeming your first selection, whichever comes first. You can continue to make additional selections in the same way -- you become eligible to book another attraction after redeeming your most recently booked selection, or if two hours have elapsed since making your most recent selection. Let's work through a couple of scenarios as examples:
Daren, I know it sounds confusing at first -- but once you begin actually using Disney Genie+ you'll be a pro in no time! The top of the Tip Board in the My Disney Experience app will display when you are eligible to select your next attraction so you won't need to worry about keeping track. Also, be sure you have updated your My Disney Experience app to the latest version. Recently, a feature was added that allows Guests to modify a currently held Lightning Lane.If you need further clarification or have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and see us again anytime. Enjoy your visit!Anne Marie
