We will have general park admission for Magic Kingdom & tickets for Mickey Very Merry Christmas on 11/14th. Can we sign up for Tron VQ at 7AM, and then again at 6PM since these are separate events? Or does the one VQ per day per guest applies?

    Hi Mytien, welcome to planDisney!

By the end of this week, it'll begin to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort. One of my friends is currently staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and says Cast Members are already making room in the lobby for the iconic gingerbread house. Holiday trees will soon replace pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A., and the smell of fresh pine will soon replace the pumpkin-spiced everything. The holidays are arriving just in time for your mid-November arrival, and that's a double dose of celebrations!

I understand you also have a double dose of magic in your future, Mytien. Your general admission ticket and theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park will let you play all day in the park. Your ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the same day will let you stay in Magic Kingdom Park and party all night. If I'm doing the Mickey math right, that means up to a 15-hour day of magic, which is absolutely amazing!

I've got great news for your best day ever, Mytien. Your general admission ticket to Magic Kingdom Park allows you to join either the 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run and your ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party qualifies you to join the 6:00 p.m. virtual queue. If all goes as planned, you'll be joining the Grid twice that day, and likely once after sunset for a completely different experience.

My best tip for successfully joining any virtual queue during your trip is to confirm your party in the My Disney Experience mobile app at least 5 minutes before the virtual queue start time (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > Virtual Queues). Just before the clock strikes the virtual queue start time, click "Refresh" until you're able to "Join Virtual Queue."

My last tip for your marathon day of magic is to check in for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at one of the in-park locations, not at the theme park entrance. Even if you are returning to Magic Kingdom Park after a mid-day break, do not get in the long line of Guests trying to check in for the party at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park. Save time and pick up your party wristband and event guide map in Tomorrowland, Adventureland, or Fantasyland.

Wishing you a very merry Christmas party, Mytien. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
