I am a General Motors retiree and with my family we would like to visit the GM lounge at Walt Disney World. So, what type of identification must I bring in order to enter the GM lounge?

    Hi there, Richard!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm thrilled that you've cruised over with an exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It looks like your family has plans to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of days. As you gear up for a fun-filled family getaway, I'm happy to steer you in the right direction!

Richard, as a resident of the Motor City state and daughter of a long-time automotive industry worker, General Motors is near and dear to my heart. The only thing better than exploring the Walt Disney World Resort is enjoying it alongside family members, and where better to take a pit stop than inside the General Motors Lounge at EPCOT!? This exclusive space welcomes active and retired GM employees and their Guests and is located near Test Track. To access this area, I recommend bringing photo identification as well as some type of employee credential, like your employee identification badge. While you're in World Discovery, be sure to take a final ride on Test Track before it undergoes its refurbishment (planned for June 2024)!

Once your family has had a chance to refuel, it's time to explore the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, Richard. Take in the beautiful sights and smells, snack around the World Showcase, and enjoy the lively springtime entertainment throughout the theme park! If you'll have young explorers in your travel party, consider picking up a Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt map. It's a great way to incorporate the entire family into your theme park day!

Richard, if you have any additional vacation planning questions before or during your trip, you're always welcome to race back over to planDisney. We're here to help you feel prepared for your enchanting escape to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
