Hi Jessica,
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can become overwhelming but I'm glad you've found us to help sort it all out! Because prices can range anywhere from $9 for a Chicken Caesar Sandwich to $70 for a seating at Cinderella's Royal Table, I can guarantee you there are restaurants and menus to suit all tastes and budgets. My best advice is to check out the unofficial site allears.net. From the page, click, "Walt Disney World" followed by "Dining," and finally "Menus" to obtain a general pricing guideline for just about every dining establishment around the World.
If you are light eater, perhaps the
Quick-Service Dining Plan would appeal, however comparing the pricing of the plan to that of the menus on allears.net will be the best way to determine if the Dining Plan would be of value. The Quick-Service Dining Plan in 2013 costs just under $40 per person per night, and includes one snack per night. You might find bringing granola snacks or little bites in your bag will satisfy a snack craving and therefore the dining plan might not be useful to you. Generally speaking, if you are not big eaters, I'd suggest paying out of pocket for food.
Also keep in mind Disney Dining Plans can only be added to Magic Your Way packages or along with booking DVC points. You can always contact 407-W-DISNEY for further booking details!
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Jessica, and please visit us again with your questions.
