Hello, Jessica,
Congratulations! A gender reveal at the Happiest Place on Earth is an incredible idea! I once brought in a balloon as part of my costume for a
Halloween party at the Disneyland Resort. My wife and I dressed as young Ellie and Carl from the movie Up. But whether or not your balloon is allowed will depend on how much of the "Spirit of Adventure" is inside it. For example, popping a balloon filled with confetti or other substance inside that would create a mess would be against the "harmful or disruptive" clause of the
Disneyland Resort Rules.
While you are visiting the parks, I'd recommend picking up some complimentary buttons from one of the main
Guest Relations locations. An "I'm celebrating:" button for you and a "1st Visit!" button for you to wear on behalf of your little Mousketeer would be so cute! Speaking of buttons, my fellow panelist
Kristin has some great ideas for
enhancing your gender reveal with buttons, cake, or character experiences. My wife also suggests having a Cast Member custom embroider a
baby-sized Mouseketeer Ear Hat in a color according to your baby's gender.
You are well on your way to raising a new Disney Parks fan! With
Baby Care Centers, attractions and activities for
preschoolers, and
more, the Disneyland Resort is a magical place to visit time and time again with your little one.
Have a magical time, Jessica!
