“it’s a small world” is such an iconic attraction — I just can’t get enough of the song! I completely understand why this is one of your must-dos for your upcoming visit.
According to the
Hours and Events Calendar, “it’s a small world” is currently closed for refurbishment. Cast Members work very hard to keep the magic in our attractions; therefore, refurbishment timelines can vary year to year. An extended closure has not been announced. I would encourage you to check the calendar periodically in case anything changes.
While you may not be able to sail into “it’s a small world,” you can certainly enjoy the
Tapestry of Happiness show that transforms the façade into an animated mosaic. I recently experienced this show during my last visit to Disneyland, and found myself smiling and dancing to the beat of “Celebrate Happy”.
Bonus Tip: This area can be a great viewing spot for
Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks! Be sure to keep an eye on the Disneyland
mobile app throughout your visit for the most accurate showtimes.
