G'Day guys! Hubbie, 2yr old daughter and myself are coming from Australia for a one week stay in the miidle of Nov 2010. Could you please let us know if it will still be warm enough to go swimming and is it safe to pack only shorts and shirts?

Hi Leeanne! The heated pools at Disney Resort hotels make it easy to enjoy the pool and the pool activities that are offered. I would recommend that you bring pants, long sleeve shirts and jackets or sweat shirts so that you can dress in layers. It tends to start of cooler in the morning, warm as the day progresses and cool again in the evenings. We layer with pants/shorts and a T shirt as or base, long T shirt or light jacket on top and carry a sweat shirt just in case extra is needed on a cool night. This really works well for our children. They will tie their long T shirt or jacket on their waist as it warms up. Of course, when we had a stroller, this was never an issue, we stored everything underneath. It is only our most recent trips that we find ourselves without a stroller, so we will get a locker to store our extra items until needed. I must say that Locker rental is easy and convenient.

You can always pack only the shorts and shirts. If you find yourselves cool, it will be a great opportunity to purchase Disney attire. LOL!
