    So from what I gather, you have to be in the Park and in a line(?) to get a pass for The Resistance ride? Can someone give me a little more details pls?!

    Hello Betsy! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have every reason to be excited for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios! This attraction feels like being immersed into an 18-minute long Star Wars movie starring you! The technological programming of this attraction is absolutely amazing from start-to-finish!

    Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance requires that Guests utilize a Boarding Group system to experience this attraction, rather than waiting in a traditional standby line. To secure a Boarding Group, you should start by downloading the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device. You may download the app at any time, but I recommend doing this prior to your travel. Once you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, during regular operating hours, go to your My Disney Experience app. You will see "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance - Access by Boarding Group." Click the button that reads "Find Out More." You will then click "Join Boarding Group." You will be assigned a Boarding Group number. Once you have your assigned Boarding Group number, you are free to enjoy the many wonders of Disney's Hollywood Studios! You will receive notifications on your mobile device as to what time your Boarding Group should report to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance!

    Betsy, this attraction is extremely popular! I strongly recommend that you plan on arriving to Disney's Hollywood Studios early enough to enter the park at regular park opening time. Doing so will certainly improve your chances of securing a Boarding Group! May the Force be with you!
