Hi there, Margaret, and welcome to planDisney!
The countdown to your Most Magical vacation is officially on! October seems like it’s far away, but super planners like you and me know that time flies when you’re ironing out the details. And I am more than happy to help you with this very important one.
Although most children’s menu items at Walt Disney World Resort are for Mouseketeers between the ages of 3 and 9, most of the time, adults can order from them, too. You’ll want to ask the Cast Member serving your table to make sure that it is an option at the specific restaurant.
AN EXTRA GEM: There have been many times when I’m just not that hungry, and I have ordered from the kids’ menu for quick-service restaurants. I usually order these smaller-portioned meals via the My Disney Experience App’s
Mobile Ordering feature.
Keep in mind that if you dine at an All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurant, you will be charged the adult price regardless of what you pick up from the buffet area. So, if you plan to only eat chicken nuggets and other kid-friendly items on the line, be prepared for the higher-priced adult cost.
I hope that this helps, Margaret. I just know that you’re going to have the BEST time, especially during a visit in October. If celebrating spooky season is your thing, be on the lookout for when you can grab tickets for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you have any other questions about your visit,
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
