Hi Laura! Thanks for bringing your questions to planDisney.
I spoke with a couple of Cast Members and none were able to confirm for me whether your smartwatch payment would be accepted or not. So, while you're absolutely welcome to try it, I can't promise it will work. I'm sorry I can't give you a solid answer! I'll keep my fingers crossed it works, but I'd have an alternative method of payment ready to go just in case it doesn't.
Methods of payment that are widely accepted at Disneyland Resort include cash, debit, credit, and
Disney Gift Cards, as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay at select Quick Service locations, kiosks, and retail locations. You can also mobile order your food and beverages at select Quick Service locations, using a saved method of payment in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Unfortunately, the
MagicBand+ you intend on buying can't be your backup for payment. That feature isn't available at Disneyland Resort. You can hands-free scan into the parks and Lightning Lane Entrances with your band with Genie+, interact with fun features in the parks, and enjoy enhanced experiences on select Attractions, Entertainment, and currently with the Pixar Fest Icon Sculptures. But at this time, there is no payment feature associated with the bands at Disneyland Resort. They're still a handy tool, especially if you're going to be booking Lightning Lane return times. Scanning in with the bands is much quicker than using your mobile device.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
