Hi moms! We have a garden grocer order being delivered to AOA in sept. I have seen mention on the panel of a parcel delivery fee from the Disney resorts. Will we be charged a parcel handling fee from AOA? Roughly how much? Thanks! Love the panel!

Greetings, Beth, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You’ll adore staying at Disney’s Art of Animation with it’s incredible level of detail. The family suites and the Mermaid rooms are every bit as magical as the exterior courtyards. My favorite surprise in the design are the “MINE MINE MINE!” chirps from the Finding Nemo suite towers!

I’ve had Garden Grocer deliver to my resort hotel twice on vacation before, and it’s been a lifesaver for quick lunches in the room or snacks right after our afternoon naps. The bags are ready and waiting for me at Bell Services right after I get my notifications, so I’m hopping down to gather my bags. The parcel delivery fee that you are referring to is usually reserved for guests picking up packages that are being delivered via USPS, UPS or FedEx and the like. Grocery Deliveries from services like ShopGo, Instacard and my favorite, Garden Grocer may charge a small delivery fee, but are free from pickup fees at the desk.

Thanks again for returning to the panel, we’re hEAR to help you with your upcoming vacation. Let me know if you have any other questions; you’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
